Hey “Dart Thrower” here is a new post so you have something to read while you “work”. I have to forwarn though that there isn’t much substance as the first two lines will explain. You got mentioned in the blog so that should count for something:) Thank goodness you have such poor aim!
So I’ve wanted to write. I just don’t know how to put it into words.
I guess in terms of big events the transmission on my old truck went out. That truck has been on many adventures and been witness to many things. There was nothing like having it breakdown about half a mile from school. Parents from school probably drove by and thought that I was stalking out the neighborhood. Alas in today’s world I was able to entertain myself with my iphone and facebook.
Facebook. Just shows how it is a small world. A friend from the middle school that I taught at added me as a friend. It was really cool reconnecting and catching up. Jump ahead a couple of weeks and I’m at friends’ house watching the Superbowl. She mentions that she met my friend “friend” at scrapbooking. It took me a moment to put it together who she was talking about. D0n’t worry people are accustomed to that:) She told me the last name and mentioned Lowell Scott and it finally clicked. My superbowl friend had gone on and added the girl who I had taught with as a friend on facebook. So if your not familiar with facebook it shows all your friends. And it shows friends that you have mutually in common. There was my elf mugshot right there.
So during this conversation another friend asks is “teaching friends” husband named “husband’s name”. I’m like yeah it is. Turns out that it is her landlord. It was great telling my teaching friend about the meth operation going on in her rental.
so….
1. It is a small world. 2. It is really hard to write about people when your not using your names. 3. And on the meth it is good that no one takes me seriously. And since my writing can be poor sometimes the meth was a joke.
So to the rest of it. A lot to write, but still waiting for the throughts to become cohesive. I am struck by how many people ”talk about stuff” but their actions do not even come clear to what they claim. I guess the positive side is that it really makes you appreciate those that do follow through. Whose actions demonstrate who they are because …
It is what it is
